DRUM CORPS

Prerequisite for joining: Member in good standing of Bektash Shriners and must be able to walk 2 miles.
Unit information: We are a marching unit that participates in 16 to 24 parades each season. We welcome people who can play a horn, drum, cymbals or bells. We also need people with no musical experience who are willing to help with pulling our drums and with transportation of our trailer and instruments to parades. We donate time twice each year to clean up outside the Bektash Shrine Center and hold several social events including picnics, potluck suppers, "thank you" and annual dinner meetings. The purpose of our unit is to promote Shrinedom, Shrine hospitals for children and good fellowship.
Our goal is to be the best Drum Corps unit in the Northeast! Come and visit us to make up your own mind--you won't be disappointed.
Membership: 60 dues paying members from around the State of New Hampshire.
Meeting Schedule: Our rehearsals are held during the winter, about three times per month. Most of our parades are during the summer.
Dues: $5.00 yearly.
Other costs: To get started in our unit a Fez and a Drum Corps jacket are required at a total of approximately $150. We furnish all other uniform items and musical instruments.
