Mini Kar Patrol
Prerequisites for joining: Member in good standing of Bektash Shriners.
Unit information: Our main purpose is to raise money to donate to our Shrine Hospitals. We perform precision drills with 5 hp go-carts in parades in New Hampshire, Maine and Massachusetts. We also have a red tow truck.
Membership: We have about 25 members.
Meeting schedule: The unit meetings are scheduled as needed May through October.
Dues: $25.00 yearly (includes insurance).
Other costs: Our cars are privately owned and maintained with no expense to the unit. The Mini-Kar we drive is a 4 wheel 5 hp go-cart with a 1954 red Corvette body. A new car costs approximately $1,500. If a used car is available, it is approximately $1,000.
