Legion of Honor
Prerequisites for Joining: Member in good standing of Bektash Shriners and a member or veteran of the Armed Forces.
Unit Information: The purpose of the unit is to promote a closer fraternal and social relationship, maintain an Honor Guard and a uniformed body, foster a spirit of patriotism and love of country and Flag, perpetuate the memory of our comrades in Arms who died in the service of their country and to serve the Illustrious Potentate in the betterment of Bektash Shriners. We are a uniformed unit and wear the campaign ribbons and the military shoulder patch of your individual branch of service. We carry the Colors and the flags of Canada, Mexico, Panama and the State of New Hampshire. We participate in various Shrine activities and march in many parades throughout the State of New Hampshire.
Meeting Schedule: Meetings are held at the Bektash Shrine Center in Concord, NH on the third TUESDAY of the month, except January (annual meeting) and July (annual picnic).
Membership: The unit has over 80 Legionobles from all over the State of New Hampshire.
Dues: $10.00 yearly.
Other costs: Uniforms are in the $100 price range and the installation fee is $5.00.
